MPM TECH COMPONENTS is a brand dedicated to the production of top-of-the-range cycle components.
Conceived in 2016 by two guys, who decided to start their own production of MTB and Road accessories, thanks to the experience gained in the field of mechanical processing in various sectors and especially in the various disciplines of the mountain bike world.
Thus they began to produce and test crowns, pins and chain guides directly in the field. By participating in various competitions, we immediately found ideas to make them more performing and lighter.
All components are designed and processed internally by the company. Checked with high precision tools and tested directly.
11 colors have been introduced in the range for the parts made of aluminum, through the anodization process with a dual anticorrosive and aesthetic function that electrochemically converts the surface layer of the metal into colored oxide.
MPM TECH is developing and testing components for electric bicycles. The current market does not offer products dedicated to e-Bike transmissions that are sufficiently long-lasting.
"We have transformed our passion into our work, with the aim of producing simple, robust and long-lasting components, designed by pilots for pilots."
WHY USE EXCHANGE? The Exchange gearbox cage is CNC machined from ALU 7075 alloy. It is equipped with 12T-18T pulleys with oversized bearings with high precision and smoothness, delrin caps that completely cover the bearing, preventing water and mud from penetrating. The 18T lower pulley improves the transmission speed and reduces the stresses of the chain in the technician. The 12-speed Exchange cages are compatible with all Sram Eagle mtb gearboxes (both mechanical and Axs gearboxes) The Exchange cage is also compatible with the new sram 10-52 cassette, so you can keep your previous generation gearboxes, without having to buy the new Sram Eagle Lunar gearboxes. Compared to the Sram Eagle mechanical shifters, it is 13mm shorter.
WHY USE EXCHANGE? The Exchange gearbox cage is CNC machined from solid ALU 7075 alloy. It is equipped with 12T-18T pulleys with oversized, high precision and smoothness bearings. Delrin hoods that completely cover the bearing, preventing water and mud from penetrating. The 18T lower pulley improves the transmission speed and reduces the stresses of the chain in the technician. The inner cage is equipped with anti-tear threaded bushes, which prevent the cage from opening, increasing its safety. This version is only compatible with Shimano Xtr / Xt 12 speed and the maximum supported toothing is 52T. How to replace your cage: 1) put the clutch off, unscrew the cage stop by unloading the spring (as on sram even if shimano has no button lock) 2) Unscrew the 3 screws that hold the clutch cover in place 3) once the cover has been removed, there is a hole with a 4mm hexagonal seat in front of it. By holding the cage still and unscrewing the bushing, the cage is self-extracting from the other side.
The Exchange cage in the Sram 11-speed version is made of 7075 T6 aluminum alloy together with the 12 and 18-tooth pulleys, also in Ergal, are entirely CNC machined. The inner cage is also made of the same material. The Exchange cage is compatible with cassettes up to 52t.
The dust pulleys can be mounted on gearboxes for 1x Sram eagle mtb 12 speed transmissions, both mechanical and axs. These pulleys are entirely machined from solid, made of Ergal and assembled with bearings of the highest quality; the special design makes them extremely rigid at a torsional level and a particular processing makes the known chain "straddle" that sometimes happens with traditional or low quality pulleys almost impossible.
